Un-Oh…

Un-Oh…

For the past six years, Masseur Obama has been shopping his curriculum vitae around the world on the off chance that the internationals will consider him an actual leader…to no avail. Yet another foreign interview didn’t go all that well. We hazard the observation that it might very well have something to do with “leading from behind”…a resume deal breaking blunder if ever one was.

Masseur Obama is now something of a discouraged worker. Nobody’s buying it. Nobody. Not even the European socialists. Lame duck, we understand, is an oriental delicacy.

To be honest, the idea that Masseur Obama could be cast in the role of a serious leader has always been a farce…or rather, “a willing suspension of disbelief” as Madam Hillary Clinton once put it. Fewer and fewer theater goers are willing.

The production has been in trouble ever since it was first cast. Despite White House Studios bringing in esteemed scriptwriters (like Jonathan Gruber) to recreate dialog based upon “the stupidity of the American voter,” the box office is still deeply in the red. Again, nobody’s buying it.

Too often, when studios wager on an unknown producer—and Masseur Obama was certainly that—not every gamble pans out. Unfortunately, a lot of money—an additional $4 trillion in public debt—was poured into the production of “The Sun King”. Its remake is no better. And a general realization is slowly sinking in. It cannot be fixed. The actor was badly cast.

Sure, the production advertised transparent brilliance. But its concept never played well in Peoria, beyond the myopic smoke filled Hollywood studio boardrooms filled with cognac and Havana cigars. “The Sun King” was never ready for primetime.

Now the public is treated to the obligatory “face saving”…which is pushing a crutch under the wing and appealing to public sympathy for the hobbled duck. Unfortunately for White House Studios, audiences do not willingly suspend their disbelief and buy tickets based on sympathy for an impetuous actor stoned on arrogance.

.

Thus, great expectations will be “talked down” by the production’s public relations, a Dickensian technique to be sure. But the indisputable truth is: “The Sun King” will be pulled, albeit not soon enough. It is destined to the ranks of B-movies–those that should never have been made…like Millard Fillmore or Martin Van Buren.

As a macabre footnote on the absurd, the recent hissy fit spat over the interview with North Korea has been more entertaining than the actual film itself, in a jaded way. A pouting Masseur Obama was credited as saying “We cannot have a society in which some dictator some place can start imposing censorship here in the United States.” True enough. He prefers the monopoly.

Too rich, that. But then Hollywood celebrities have never been circumspect regarding their own hypocrisy and indecencies.

  1. cpvicechair Says:

Obama willfully excuses recent North Korean “cybervandalism”.

For their part, the North Koreans said of their recent cyberwar attack on Sony: “Our target is all the citadels of the U.S. imperialists who earned the bitterest grudge of all Koreans.”

And…”Our toughest counteraction will be boldly taken against the White House, the Pentagon and the whole U.S. mainland, the cesspool of terrorism… fighters for justice are sharpening bayonets not only in the U.S. mainland but in all other parts of the world.”

Yeah. THAT government sponsored cyber-attack sure sounds like “vandalism” to us…Not! The Do-Nothing Transformational Golfer known as Obama is…a nightmare mutation of Neville Chamberlain. Not even Salvador Dali could distort reality any further.
