We took time to summarize some voting data regarding–“da money”.  Taking the financial numbers on the 2016 U.S. Senate race in Idaho (source: and the total votes each of the three candidates won (source:  Idaho Secretary of State website) leads to the following chart:

Considering the disparity in funds, Mr. Writz did rather well.  Mr. Crapo raised/spent over 92% of all funds employed in the 2016 race.  Incumbency has its perks…which is the problem.

Seems to us, that Writz knows how to manage our nation’s finances far better than the incumbent, newly elected.  That was a mighty profligate spending jab on Crapo’s part…but when the money ain’t yours, who cares, right?

Wrong.  This kind of extravagance is precisely why the national debt is beyond our current means to repay it.  Absolutely shameful; but it is what it is.
